RADIOFREQUENCY MICRONEEDLING

Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, scarring, skin tone, texture and sagging skin. With the addition of radiofrequency energy to microneedling, this procedure further stimulates collagen production to reveal firmer, rejuvenated and younger looking skin. 

RF Microneedling, like other microneedling procedures, creates controlled micro channels in the skin to stimulate your own collagen production. Other methods of microneedling utilize PRP or PRF stem cell growth factor with other serums to penetrate deep into the skin and further enhance youthful looking results. 

To prepare, skin is cleansed and a topical anesthetic is applied, to make the procedure more comfortable. Then the microneedling device is gently pressed against skin, creating multiple micro channels. The Radiofrequency delivers heat energy deep into the dermis channels, encouraging collagen growth as well as tightening and firming tissue. Microneedle penetration releases growth factors and encourages more collagen production, leading to younger looking skin. The microneedles mechanically assist in breaking down scar tissue. 

Since there is no breakdown of the epidermis, downtime is minimal, if any. When compared to more aggressive laser resurfacing treatments or deep chemical peels, recovery time is much shorter. Multiple sessions, spaced around 6 weeks is usually recommended, to achieve your most beautiful results.
