IPL’s energy is created from light.  Heat conversion from this energy, helps to eradicate overactive cells producing too much melanin.

A warming and “snap-like” sensation is experienced, as the IPL’s energy goes deep into skin, breaking up pigment and pulling up to surface.  Most patients tolerate this sensation, although Tylenol may be taken 30 minutes prior to treatment, if desired.
